The "Cecile Edel-Latos" International Piano Competition of Chatou just ended and will run again in 2013. You will find all the results and photos from this session.

It is open to all pianists who wish to confront the stage and prove that they have the endurance required for such a contest, and are willing to share their passion with the audience. The age limit is 35 years old.

It is not necessary (unlike in many other competitions) to have previously won an international contest, but one should have the required level to perform with talent the assigned repertoire.

The jury is composed of personalities from the world of music, used to sitting in International Competitions.

This competition provides the opportunity to discover Chatou, City of the Impressionists, where among others, Debussy came to rest and perhaps find inspiration among the painters who frequented the Island of the Impressionists and the Maison Fournaise. Chatou is the place where Renoir painted the famous "Luncheon of the Boating Party", known worldwide and Guy de Maupassant wrote on the wall of the Maison Fournaise.

Amidst this site steeped in history and culture, the "Cécile Edel-Latos" Concours International de Piano de Chatou is held in a promiment location.

As President-Founder of this contest, I wish good luck to the future candidates.
